Who are we?

What data do we process?
From everyone who signs up: your email address, your language and your chosen role (shipper, carrier or both). If you sign up as a carrier, we also ask for contact details, information about your business and information about your fleet. The form shows you exactly which. We also record which channel brought you to us: the label in the link you clicked — an advertisement in a Facebook group, for example — and the domain name of the site you came from, such as facebook.com. Never the full web address, as that can contain search terms or group names. Your browser remembers that label for as long as your tab stays open and forgets it as soon as you close it. We use no cookies for this and do not follow you across other websites. If you sign up, we keep it with your registration, so that we know which channels work.
Why do we use your data?
To contact you by email about the Vexon platform and our services, and to keep you informed about news, updates and offers. If you are a carrier, we contact you by email and phone to discuss whether and how we can work together.
On what legal basis?
Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the checkbox in the signup form. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email or via hello@vexon.eu. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Who do we share your data with?
We do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes. We use an email service provider as a processor, established in the EU. Your data is stored within the European Economic Area and is not transferred to countries outside it. More information about our processor can be requested via hello@vexon.eu.
How long do we keep your data?
As long as you are subscribed to our mailing list. If you unsubscribe, we delete your data. We also delete your data if you have not opened or responded to any email from us for 24 months.
What are your rights?
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability and withdraw your consent. Send a request by email to hello@vexon.eu. We respond within one month.
Complaints
If you have a complaint, we would first like to hear it directly via hello@vexon.eu. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Belgium the Data Protection Authority (www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
Changes
We may amend this privacy notice. The most recent version is always available on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
