About the role
At Vexon you help build the platform that connects shippers and carriers. You work on both the user experience and the logic behind it, developing solutions our customers use every day. You spend around 80% of your time building the platform. The other 20% gives you room to explore new technologies and improve our development processes. Artificial intelligence plays an increasingly important part in what we build.
What you build
You work on software with a serious technical core: a financial platform where payments and payouts have to add up to the cent, and a logistics platform that brings together geodata, routing and real-time communication between shippers and carriers. We build solutions that are reliable, reusable and maintainable. That is why we pay close attention to clear architecture, high-quality code and automated tests, especially where financial logic is involved.
Who we are looking for
You have experience as a fullstack developer and have contributed to applications or platforms running in production. You feel at home in both frontend and backend and enjoy tackling technical challenges independently. Experience matters, but a curious and eager-to-learn mindset matters just as much. A degree is a plus, as are open source contributions or other relevant hands-on experience. What counts in the end is that you can build quality software. We are looking for someone who:

- builds reliable applications with reusable, understandable code;
- enjoys working with data and integrations between systems;
- is curious about new AI technologies and explores the value they can add;
- takes a pragmatic approach to choosing technologies.

- PostgreSQL as the database
- Git for version control
You also work with a payment integration, cloud infrastructure and geodata.
